Being a freshman is not bad at all. I had a really good freshman experience and I came from an entirely different town from a K-8 school to a bigger high school, and I was fine. You just have to know not to be shy and be very outgoing. Make friends and join clubs. Make you high school experience one you'll never forget. Cause you'll never have another chance to remember it again! I'm a senior so I know my stuff ;-)

not all upper classmen will hate you its really just hte fact that they know where they are goign and freshmen get in the way becasue they dont also try to stay out of the way if your going to talk to your friends get close to the wall dont just stop in the middle of the hall, also dont mouth off to the teachers, the only thing that really sucks is your at the bottom of the food chain again so just remember that you should be fine

So i am currently a freshman! and So far it has been the best ever. The worst part is Seniority and the best has been all of the differences like you can have gum and food and soda and all types of drinks and your iPod and in some classes you can have your cell phone! I enjoy all of the fun stuff because last year if you had food you were given detention and if you had anything and if you carried your stuff with you to class in your backpack! Im LOVIN HIGH SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!

ok here is how i got through being a freshman.

-ignore "stupid freshman" remarks

-actually try in school because collages see your grades

-don't start drama! its not middle school any more

-there is a good chance upperclassmen will not want to b seen if public with you even if you are friends. but some are ok with it

-be yourself, don't live a lie because it is not worth it

-lastly, HAVE FUN!!

Well, its not that bad. You will have much more freedom and responsibility. Upper class men, at least at my school weren't that big of a deal. If you left them alone they left you alone. Don't worry about the work load. It's not that much more than middle school. Good Luck!
