  1. It depends on how old you are. When you get older, they have you play in a bigger feild. It's probably about two to three yards. Have fun playing softball! I used to play it, but I got bored of it. I'd rather sleep. ;)

  2. i played softball last year i'd say about 10 feet or so

  3. For female softball the distance from the rear tip of home plate and the front edge of the pitcher's plate is 40 feet for fast pitch

  4. For youth leagues, it is 40 feet.  In the pros and internationally it is 43 feet.

  5. I'm pretty sure its 40 feet for girls fast pitch and 46 for male fast pitch.

  6. when i played in  the  9-11 league it was 30 ft now it is 45 ft in the 13-14 league.

  7. Actually it's not a mound, it's a circle. There is just an 8 foot circle around the rubber, which it located 43 feet directly in front of home plate.

  8. The pitching rubber is 40 feet away until 18A, 18Gold, or college and up.

If you are wanting to pitch, then after you get a little experience, I would start practicing at 50 ft so that when you get on the field it is coming in harder and faster at the closer range.

Re: 10 feet???? not even in T-ball

  9. about 40 to 43ft depending where you play

  10. younger divisions 30-35ft

    older 40ft
