I want to know...Why are some people so rude on yahoo answers?.. i dont get it! Ill ask a question, just being curious and ill get some really mean answers! Like just the other day i had some random guys calling me a dumb***...i was like ok!?!? and i dont know u..but w/e..so thats my question..hopefully i wont get some rude answers...

you sound like a nice person so im gonna tell you the truth. some people are just rude. they either think they are better than everyone else or they hate themself so much they take it out on everyone else to make them feel just as bad.

There are far too many people like that which makes it even harder for the nice people to be nice.

Don't take anything they say personal, they are the ones with issues.

They feel that they can be covered up by the computer screen and be superior by being sarcastic and rudee.

Those people annoy me, too.

Some people like to get away with being rude because they know that it is anonymous on here.  They just want to get the 2 points.

Most people are just idiots.  I've noticed this everywhere.  I like going to message boards for movies, like The Dark Knight, and there are people that post stupid answers to stuff.  If I answer it's something I'll know and answer it to the best of my knowledge.  Just ignore those that are idiots.  There's no hope for them.

Some people like me might be have a bad day every now and then. Other people are cyber bullies.

I doubt I'd resort to name calling, however, when confronted with extreme ignorance, I tend to respond dismissively with sarcasm...

I do the same thing in real life (except at work for obvious reasons)
