Soar throat spray question?

so I have this red chloraseptic soar throat spray and lists as active ingredient 'phenol....1.4%.' I was reading and found that that phenol is actually poisonous.

Also, I just read the directions and it says to spray on affected area and leave there for 15 secs then spit out...but how in the h**l do they expect me to do this when I have a freaking soar throat? I don't know about you but I can't just swallow a liquid midway, hold it on the bottom of my throat and then spit it out, is that even humanly possible?

yeah, I hear you that is near to immpossible try some hot tea with honey . warm drinks relax the throat, It will feel much better.

i just spray that stuff in the back of my throat 3 times and swallow it. i havent died from that yet.

haha, I wouldn't use it. I always use Cepacol Throat Spray. Cepacol also makes lozenges, but i absolutely HATE lozenges, so I just use the spray. haha, hope I hepled, and I hope you don't poison yourself ;)
