I work at a Real Canadian Superstore near London, ON and I make $8.95 after working there for two years. The minimum wage went up and ate up all of my raises.

You would be making at least $8.50, maybe $8.65.

I assume all of the grocery stores pay similar. It'd be around minimum wage for the part-timers though.

The first fellow is right, they are also unionize with the UFCW union and in Toronto the wages can vary department to department, and whether your full or part time, I worked for a place as a seafood counter worker, with 20 yrs as a chef and having cooked and dealt with more fish and seafood than most people do in a lifetime, I still was paid the minimum they offered, I left due to health reasons, but is was part-time also. All stores pay some what the same and the benefits are much alike, so it is up to you.
