if i join competitive dance teams, it mean i will most likely have 5 or 6 hours of dance a week. but i still want to play recreational soccer, which requires 2 hour and a half practices a week, with a game on saturdays.(but i only play soccer august-november) plus, im a straight A student and have to keep up with my school work. so would i be able to handle all of this? im going into 8th grade.

  1. Yeah, of course you can do both. I've done both competive dance and soccer for years. Your life may get a little hectic. I'm also in 8th grade and this year I threw cheerleading in to the mix too. If your worried about still being an A student bring your homework with you, that's what I've alwys done and I'm still an A student. Also figure out what days you will have to miss for a competition or a game and talk to your coach/teacher. I play soccer in the spring so my life becomes a little busy but I love both.

Hope this helps and I completely understand what your going through. Good luck.
