Soccer games in Costa Rica in March?

Are there any soccer games going on in San Jose Costa Rica between March 15th and March 22nd, 2008. I'm going to be in Costa Rica for this week and am hoping to try to see a soccer game (international or national leagues). Does anyone know if there are any games during this week. If so, when and who is playing?

There are no international soccer games programmed in Costa Rica for that month.

The Summer National Championship 2008 will start on January 12th.

Let me tell you something. If you want to watch a soccer game in Costa Rica it is ALAJUELA vrs SAPRISSA. Thats the national derby and by far the most exciting game in Costa Rica. I see ALAUJELA vrs SAPRISSA is programmed for the date you are going to be here so you are so lucky my friend.

It doesnt matter where they are going to play. It will be either in San Jose city or Alajuela city... but they are very close so you can go to watch the game to either city.

Yes, you can still see the major soccer teams like Puntarenas, Saprissa and La Liga play in March. Costa Rica is a huge soccer country so even if the season has ended for these pro teams they sometimes have exhibitions and such as well as world games and games against other Latin American countries.
