I've been playing soccer for about 3 years and have been practicing my butt off at juggling; but I still suck! Even when I can do a couple juggles I can only do it with my right foot! I asked my trainer, but he wasn't much of a help. What can I do to improve?

  1. keep trying and not just with your right foot, with both

  2. juggling really helps ball control. try standing like 3 feet away from a wall so you wont be able to kick the ball too far in front of you

other than that just make sure you try and keep practicing with both

and try starting with your thighs and see if you can do like 2 or 3 on your thighs and then let the ball drop to your feet where maybe you can get 3 or 4 more

    hope this helps

  3. try and get the ball with your hands if ur using a number 4 or 5 ball use the little kids ball and practice with that and whenn u master that get the ball u should be playing with

  4. its abt timing .. yes u will get it thru much practise. one thing to note .. dunt keep ur ankles loose or u wont connect well wid the ball. try wid ur right(or stronger) foot first and get the hang of it before u do it with ur weaker foot else u mite get irritated. persistance is the key !! gud luck !

  5. Keep practicing.   Watch people who are very good at it.   The way to juggle is to have a soft touch - learn to curve your leg like you were going to sit yoga style and kick with the inside of your foot.    I've become a much better striker and passer since I learned how to juggle.

  6. I had the same problem. REALLY

I could only get about 1 or 2 with my right and 0 with my left. I started to watch people on my team juggle and I asked our trainer. She said it was all about STAYING BALANCED and LOCKING YOUR ANKLES.

By locking she means keeping them locked in a position, here is a picture of what it looks like...

Now my top record is 51 (one with each foot), I know compared to some people that is nothing but it is a start!

I hope I helped and of course practice!

    Good luck

  7. As much as you don't want to hear this, keep practicing. Keep working on as many juggling surfaces that you can. Focus on getting like 2 or 3 juggles t once, then stop. Work up to 3 or 4, and so on. To get used to the motions, practice with a lighter ball, like a volleyball or even a beach ball.
