Can anyone give me a little help out with this? I am a little confused about all of this. I'm suppose to summarize how social insurances help fund government programs. I also am suppose to show the benefits and drawbacks of government funded programs and how are those benefits and drawbacks exhibited in social programs such as Medicare, unemployment insurance, and worker's compensation?
So I know with government funding, you dont' have to worry about waiting for the right donation to buy supplies or receive supplies you need because the government gives you a certain amount to work with. The drawback is that they have certain rules about what the money can be spent on and also the taxes go up with every funded program because they are spending money, so they raise taxes to make up for the money that is spent. Does that sound right? I'm confused on how social insurance helps fund programs still and confused about how the benefits and drawbacks are exhibited in different programs. Any help would be great!
