How do i get over my Social Phobia ?

the problem isn't just beccause im shy or something

the real problem is that im really don't have social skills , im very boring person , im unexpressive person ...i can't make friends & when i make some friends they don't last long simply because of all the reasons i mentioned above

please help me . this problem is really destroying my life you

  1. The good thing is you know the reasons for it. Try to be a little more expressive. Learn some funny jokes off of Yahoo Answers and tell them. People won't find you as boring. Here's a good joke to start with:

    A pirate walks into a bar with a steering wheel down the front of his pants. The bartender says "Isn't that uncomfortable?" And the pirate says "Aye! It's been driving me nuts all day!"

    Get it? "Me" could also mean "My" in pirate talk?


  2. u could start by addressing small crowds like members of ur family or rather watching ur self speak in a mirror or better still read books dat boost ur self esteem.                                                                                                                                honey i rilly hope this works  for u.with love crazy diza

  3. trust me, chances are it isnt you that has social phobia, its society thats the problem.

    social skills are learned so you can just practice and figure out what people usually like to talk about. anyone can learn and social skills are different in every society.

    you only think they think you are boring, you probably arent, its just that you dont share the same interests as them.

    maybe just try to not worry about this "problem" of yours for a while and maybe youll realize it was never there in the first place. there must be some things that you like or are interested in. and while some people may find that boring, there definitely are others that would find it really interesting. you just have to find those people. there has got to be something about you that you an express.

    most of these "disorders" wouldnt exist if the labels didnt exist. thingsll get better.

  5. Don't be a listener all the time make people aware of your point of view. In general go with the flow and see where it leads, so all in all come out of that shell it's time for you to shine.
