Social Rhythm favourite for Racing Post Form With totepool Mobile Handicap (Div II)
Social Rhythm has a solid chance of shining in the Racing Post Form With totepool Mobile Handicap (Div II) at Ayr in England on Monday, July 23, 2012. A cash prize of £1,704 has been set for the triumphant horse.
The going will be good in the 1 mile event, which will start at 15:35 GMT. The stamina of all runners will be put to a test and it will be hard to predict the winner, as no one has been in dominant form.
However, the punters should risk more money in favour of Social Rhythm because she seems to be in very good shape right now. Her performances in this season have been extremely good, which has helped her get a starting price of 7 to 2 from the bookmakers.
The eight-year-old mare made her debut back in 2006 and her performances at the start of her career were extremely good. She started off her career with a bang, winning her first ever race, despite not being rated as the favourite back then. She followed
that up with a couple of back to back third place finishes and ended the season on a high with two runners up spots.
In her first six events, the Alistair Whillans’ trainee did not drop out of the top three even once. She started the 2007 season on a low, finishing sixth in her first race that year. However, she made amends for that and was back on top right in her next
outing.
Despite getting off to a spectacular start in her career, the seasoned mare failed to keep the momentum going. She saw a lot of struggles and failed to meet the expectations of her team on numerous occasions. There were times when she seemed to be strong
again, but that was temporary.
Things have gone well for Social Rhythm in the ongoing season, as she has been delivering some good results with consistency this year. She has appeared in four events, winning one of them whereas finished runner up on the same number of times. Although
she dropped out of the top three in the other two races, yet her speed was not bad and finished fourth in them.
Beat All’s daughter will be partnered by Paddy Aspell, who does not have a very good record and will be aiming for an improvement.
