Social Rhythm fervent to finish first in Night Handicap
Social Rhythm is fully fervent to finish first in the Book Now For Saints & Sinners Night Handicap that will take place at Hamilton racecourse on Wednesday night, June 13. The Class 6 contest over the distance of 1 mile and 65 yards will commence at 9:20
(GMT).
Pursing the prize money worth £1,941, the Alistair Whillans-trained bay mare will run against 10 competitors including Last Destination, Deep Applause, Henrys Gift, Fairy Mist, Seattle Sounder, King Of Paradise, Viking Dancer, Powerball, Great Nicanor and
Madam Bonny.
The maverick mare marvellously finished first in her last outing on May 30, 2012. Being a 7-2 combine favourite, she showed her class confidently in the Best Odds At Betvictor.Com Fillies’ Handicap that was held at Ayr track.
This was the 7th victory of her career which consists of 47 races. Prior to this sterling success, the eight-year-old veteran sprinter had gained two consecutive 4th positions during the same month.
As a whole, the daughter of Beat All out of Highly Sociable poses to be a strong and consistent runner who will make her way towards victory convincingly in the coming contest. Her chances to thrive are as high as 90 percent.
Among Social Rhythm’s rivals, Deep Applause and Seattle Sounder are likely to perform well today.
Deep Applause has just one victory to his name. The Michael Dods-trained bay gelding has run for 21 times so far. Since the dawn of 2012, the veteran horse has been struggling badly. He cannot think of the first position; however, he can be a potential contender
for the second and third spots.
Seattle Sounder is too winless despite having run for four times to date. The Ann Duffield-trained bay gelding elegantly finished 3rd in his second last start on November 3, 2011. He went on to get a 7th position against 11 runners
in the subsequent outing on May 25, 2012.
There is likely to be a tough scuffle between Deep Applause and Seattle Sounder. The event will be thrilling and interesting enough. Let us enjoy the charged action. Good luck to all the contestants who are set to sizzle.
