  1. After your child is born and has a Social Security number, contact the SSA in your town and get the application process started.

Your income has nothing to do with your child's benefits.  Your child's benefits depend on the benefits received by the father.

  2. Better if you call now and get as much information as possible.  Because there is no guarantee as to how long the process may take and you might be shocked at how little the amount is.

  3. You can't apply until after the child is born.

If you want to go to the local office before the baby comes they can probably tell you how much of my money you will get for this child once it arrives.

I suggest you get a social security number for the child as soon as possible (generally can be done while in the hospital) and that  you make sure the father is listed on the birth certificate.

  4. after baby is born you might get some additional allowance from state or cityhall for your baby as your husband is disabiled and not able to provide for the kid......how about you,do you work or could you work more then maybe there is priority for baby to be put at some daycare......sort out all your stuff which you are legally entitled to   with some lawyer or counsellor fom cityhall,do it before baby is born so you will have less stress goodluck

  5. Why should your child get disability?  Just because the father gets it??
