  1. Probably due to price of car. If you paid over a certain amount, I think it's either 8 or 10k+ spent at one time has to reported/documented.

So if your car was about that much, there ya go.

    If not...well, I don't know...spy's? lol, jk

  2. If you paid cash, it would not show on a credit report.

  3. Everything, they are watching you right now!!! HIDE!!!

  4. Did you ever buy something and have to list your assets? This could be anything that you may have financed.

  5. all computers r in a network.  all u need is a social security number most of information is public knowledge.

  6. They see that you paid "cash" for the car. Unless you bought it from a private party that is.

  7. Go to: annualcreditreport.com and get a free credit report.

Why don't you just get a copy of your credit report and see what is on there. If there is something wrong, then protest it.

  8. Creditors and even CRA's (though the CRA's would never admit it) get alot of information from Lexis Nexis.

When security questions are asked, much of that info comes from a persons L/N report.

Even though you paid cash for the cars, your ownership of the cars would still be listed in a data bank somewhere (your insurance company, state DMV, etc).

L/N picks up that info and puts it in the file they have on you.

L/N sees all, knows all and, for $8 bucks, tells all.

    edit

If you just ordered your L/N report, have patience. They often take a very long time to send it. (many times 30+ days)
