Social Security Office got all kinds of things wrong in my application for Disability, they think I am a alcoholic, a truck driver, and claiming for diseases I don't even have, and then denied my application. Maybe they got my file mixed up with someone else, I don't drink, never have, never been a truck driver, and I don't know whose diseases those are. What kind I do besides hiring a lawyer for my appeal?

  1. March yourself back down to the social security office with the mixed up letter social security sent to you, and bring your doctors report or any letters you had supporting your disability claim.

"Demand" only to see 'the manager' immediately, not some desk clerk or counter staff who's fresh from the US school system.

If you received someone else's details as being yours, well someone else must be using" your details and illness" to be receiving there disability payment.

"Don't call them" just get your shoes on and get yourself down to your nearest social security  A.S.A.P. even if you have to crawl on both your hands and knees. To have this mix up fixed immediately.

Don't be lazy, wasting time thinking a phone call will correct some stupid fools silly computer entry mistake, or think a third party (lawyer) who will take months for something you can do yourself in five minutes.

Do it yourself, right now if there still open or first thing tomorrow, otherwise you'll be lost in the system and have to wait months for an appeal or to reapply because of a computer mistake.

The 'manager' unless there an idiot too, should have the common sense to see this mistake and deal with this error immediately over there computer. Especially if your personel medical details are being used by or for somebody else.
