Social Security early Withdrawl?

If someone came to the country, stayed and worked for 10 years lets say, and is deciding to move back to their home country. Is there a way for them to claim payment from Social Security for funds they have paid into it already. Because they won't be here at 62?

  1. Not too likely.  They might be able to receive benefits after they are 62 or whatever age qualifies when they reach that age.

    I don't think the tax withheld can be refunded.


  2. Yep, happens all the time if they have made their sufficient quarters.
