Social Service: Companions?

Question

I hear you can get companions in the Vale Royal area from social service. I have tried finding these bits of information on the internet, however i have had no luck. Can anybody point me in the right direction.

If you are talking about a companion in the care sense ie someone to be there to help you, have  a chat with etc... then if you are already registered with social services that should be your 1st point of call. Or contact your social worker.
