A social worker has to be registered to look after a case, is this correct? Then what is the role of a chidren's services assisstant, what can she legally do and not do.

    If your talking about an children's services assisstant, in means of a child care assisstant, they only have the legal ability to alert child services about the problem.

    But yeah, I'm not sure what exactly your refering to, because child care comes under children services.
