traffic rules r part of social policies. to protect fellow drivers and pedestrian. remember those days when there were no rules when 1st car was driven.

in some countries,  family planning - hv more babies eg sweden, japan, singapore to stem declining population.

compulsory education till grade 10.

health screening for babies - to ward off diseases etc

in some countries - housing for poor  - france, england, singapore,

food rationing when theres drought / famine

things done for the common good
