Social problem for little sis????????

My little sister has been very depressed lately and she wouldn't tell her mom about whats happening. I finally got her to talk and since she's in the stage of puberty, she's been having some social problems. To her, school seems to be the #1 problem. She was actually supposed to go to a different school but she went to another one that her friends didn't go to. She has no friends there and i think she was hinting that there are no guys that can be bfs or just friends either. She wants to have "cool" friends but all the ppl in her classes are "nerds, geeks, and ugly ppl." as a big sis, i wanna help her out but im not sure how. what should i do?

She probably just thinks all the other kids at her school are like that b/c they are not her friends and she is not the school she wants to be at.  Seriously....there is NO ONE at that school she can be friends with?  She is being unreasonable, probably because she is starting to go through puberty and is being very spoiled and irrational.

Tell her to join some clubs at school, things she enjoys to do, she will surey meet people who can be her friends.

It seems your little sister is worrying about the wrong thing.  She needs to find something to do outside of wish for friends. Who cares if they are cool, most of the time the cool kids are jerks.  A friend is a friend and she needs to learn that boys and cool friends will not get her ahead in life but being a good person.

It also sounds like she and you for that matter are shallow.  The nerds, geeks, and ugly butts have feelings too.  Maybe the cool kids thinks she is one of them.  too bad so sad.
