Social science major?

If I were to major in social science in college will this help me to realize if I want to become an forensic/pyshical anthropologist, or a clinical psychologist or a social worker later on in life. Because I learned that social science covers alot of topics and I'm only interested in those three and those three things I'm interested in falls under social science. So do you think by me studying social science-(general) will help me realize my true major and give me an idea of what I want to major in?

  1. You could major in what you actually want with a double in sociology, this way you'll experience them all while working towards one.  Then if you decide to change your mind, you'll be good to go!

  2. Yes if you do not know what you want to do and or to do your graduate work in ANY social science major will give you the basic foundation - you may have to take additional pre-requisites but you will be fine going forward.
