Is it the responsiblity of the government to bail out big business, award no bid contracts, start wars that benifit big business, and give money to corporations with no expectation of payback?

or

Is it the responsibility of government to ensure universal health care, give economic stimulas checks, distribute food stamps to those who don't want to work (I mean can't work), bail out those who were awarded mortgages that they could not afford, and buy diapers for women who should have had their tubs tied 4 kids ago?

Neither of these benifit me, yet I am stuck paying for it.

So which is worse?

  1. They're both unconstitutional and an unecessary burden on taxpayers.

But it is entitlements that cost us far, far more than anything else. To the tune of almost $1.5 trillion annually. And these entitlements have infringed significantly on our liberty and prosperity.

I don't believe either has any constitutional basis.

  2. Social Welfare is by far the worse simply because it does not distribute any benefit to the commonwealth.  In fact its position is completely undemocratic to where these benefits were awarded without a proper vote or (proper representation.)  In terms of Corporate Welfare the commonwealth actually controls the corporation.  Remember corporations simply consist of stockholders whom elect the boardmembers.  Therefore the commonwealth literally has much more influence and control in a corporate welfare society.

  3. How high is that pedestal? People may not impose their beliefs on others.

  4. Both

Democrats get people addicted to Social Welfare and Republicans criticize and give Corporate Welfare to companies and rarely ask for reimbursement.

Both make promises that keep them in Office  and forget their values.

Read this; "War is a Racket" by Smedley Darlington Butler(181-1940), a 2 time recipient of the US Congressional Medal of Honor.

  5. social welfare is the worse, at least with corporate welfare you get jobs out of it and people off the scoial welfare!

  6. Ethically, I think they are equally bad, although I would guess that more corporate welfare is distributed.

Corporate welfare creates a moral hazard, where businesses are prone to take more risks than are justified.

Social welfare creates a dependency, where generations become trapped in a near-impossible to break cycle.

  7. Lately I have been equating the Democrats to Communists (see 1963 45 Declared goals of Communist Party- I'd put their website, but I always get violated).

Not to worry, I equate the Repubs with the illuminati - See illuminati news.org.,

Therefore I think it is time for a third party and "National Election Fund" to provide monies for an honest Joe to run that doesn't cater to either.

  8. I feel that both are just as bad....   we need to get both the DNC and GOP off of Uncle Sam's t*t.
