Can I be qualified as a social worker in Australia and get a work permission after enrolling a master course in social work in Aussie uni?

I am a Japanese citizen, have a master degree in social science, not qualified as a social worker, but willing to gain experience in the field for the next 1year or so in UK, hopfully get an access to Australian uni after that.

  1. Yes if you graduate from a uni with a MSW you will be qualified to be a social worker.  Now will you get permission to work in Australia  - this is a different question.  Work permits are getting harder to get  in most areas (except tech).
