Can someone please give me some examples on how the environment influences the development of deviance?

Solitude.    It has more to do with social interactions then with the environment.  Possibly.

Cause every group of people would have a standerd, each group would have a different one...So If you are not in any one of those groups, basically You would be deviant.

People take freedom of speech to a new disrespectful level.  Spanking has been now labeled as child abuse so kids think they can get away with anything.  The media shows s*x and violence to be cool entertainment.  People are blaming religion for things, debates and deviance.  Hope this helps.

That's easy. My neighborhood's gentrification is prime example.

d**n gang moved here and sprayed gang signs on fences in this sleepy suburb. Then all the city garbage decided 'hey, rent's so high let's just pay mortgage' and moved in, with all the illegals that were here already, that keep bringing more relatives over.

All our old neighbors hightailed it outta here. They were the ones whom the cops took seriously when there were any weirdness going on.

AND NOW, we have the freaks in the corner with their chicken coop (this neighborhood is not zoned for that kind of thing/ got busted selling them for c**k fights), the d**n people next door playing EAR-SHATTERING music at loud decibels until 11 or later in the morning, their stupid kid hanging out with the other stupid jr.high delinquents that live behind us, who were shooting a handgun across our property and theirs (got it on tape), and my little neighbors who attract drug dealers two houses down. They were good kids, what the h**l happened there I keep asking myself...

Worse in the summertime. Everyone and their grandmother has a party loud enough for grounds for a noise disturbance but no one does anything about it because they're planning their party next weekend!

They all encourage one another. It's futile to call the cops on one nuisance even if it is illegal, because they're all doing similar activities. Cops stopped listening about 5 yrs. back.

BTW, yes they are all of diff. ethnicities; i only left it out because i don't wanna play the stupid race card even if those stereotypes look more true every day.
