  1. its doomed to failure when it takes over the hierarchy and when doing so it has no alternative but to become institutionalized.  in the process of making its mark, it will employ all means to achieve its goal and the democratic process is the best alternative when appealing to the masses.  it shows that the masses had a say in it.  then it can create that change.
