Sociology Presentation on sociological issues in everyday life?? Maybe Flavor Flav??

ASSIGNMENT:Using the local newspapers students will illustrate sociological concepts. This project will help students recognize sociology in their everyday lives. Each person chooses a topic and illustrates the topic with newspaper examples and other forms of media. Then each person should identify the sociological concepts the topic represents. For example, if you discuss the Child Abuse cases in the media. You would begin by discussing the article. You would ten discuss poverty and how income and poverty are related. You could then discuss how this is an example of social stratification. You could then discuss some of the poverty theories.This is an opportunity for you to recognize sociology in your everyday life. each topic should begin by a brief discussion of the topic area with an explanation of the sociological concepts.
