A simple enough question, but finding out how people start the day can be very interesting.

What type of food festivals are there.

No matter what culture, food is the one thing every one relates to.

This will also cover religious, marital, coming of age, birthdays, weddings, graduations, political views, all these events include food.

Describe the best and worst aspects of your society (or country, culture, etc.).  By sharing these facts about their society one would be able to gage many insights into their overall cultural viewpoint.....what they place value and place importance on.....what they view as being detrimental to society, social structure, etc.
