The basic jist of my discussion topic is: What are the structural constraints that make it diffficult for teachers to respond to immigrent kids and their needs? My question is what would be a good theory or theorist to use and test? I was thinking maybe bourdieus theory on social cultural capital but how could I link it? Or maybe Symbolic Interaction or exchange theory or labeling?Any other theory would be great.Please help me I am really stuck on this one! I dont know which would be best if any. Does anyone have any suggestions?
