Sociology (don't know if i spelled that right). anthropology?

ok, here is the deal, im a sophmore in high school and im already exploring my options for college. i was looking at the different degrees they offer at a certain college im interested in and i want a description of sociology and anthropology and please no definitions. I just need a description of what it is in the simplest terms possible. Thanks for your help.

  1. Sociology: the study of how human groups form and interact within society. It's all about how people act and function in groups. It is mainly interested in modern, industrial society. You look at social institutions, like the family, religion, education, work, crime, etc.

    Anthropology: is the study of humans in, usually traditional, social groups. You will look at human society in traditional, aboriginal settings, like the hunter gathers of the Kalahari.
