Soda can pull tab broke off how

Question

Out of a case of soda so far 4 pull tabs have not worked to open the soda. How can I open the soda once the pull tab has been pulled and did not open the soda?

just pound the opening really hard with a screwdriver or just use a can opener - then pour the soda into a glass.

there should be a small circle with a square thing around it. take a spoon or something and jam it under there. then push the spoon up pulling the tiny tab down and it should work. my brothers would take a small knife and pierce the circle, put their finger over it and hold it upside down in their mouth and it would squirt it. weird i know, but thats one way. enjoy your beverage!

take the handle of a spoon/fork and mash it in.

have a paper towel ready just in case.

If this happens to me, I usually just puncture a hole in the top of the can with a sharp knife (just be careful, because if the can has been shaken, soda will spill EVERYWHERE.)

Well you see the part that opens? The part of that thing that's closest to the edge of the can could probably be poked open with something. Just poke it open enough and pour it into a cup to avoid cutting your lip on the can since opening it wrong could make a jagged edge.

Use a can opener(the ones used to open food cans and pour ur soda in a glass

Maybe you're just not strong enough.  Use one of those can openers that you just put it on the edge of the can, and when you put pressure on it, it puts a triangular shape hole in it.  I don't know how to explain it.

it has happened to me, I have used a can opener to open the soda, or the hole where you drink is already marked to be opened, you puncture that part in and drink from it. Good Luck.

If you contact the company who made the soda they will send you a coupon for far more then the few cans that you waste.
