Soda or pop?

when I was little and grew up on the west coast it was pop....  when I got married and lived in the midwest, and east coast and Florida  it was soda *L*

In most southern or "country" states people have the tendency to lean towards the word SODA, Where as in the northern states people use the word POP..

Me I've lived in Louisiana, Texas, Indiana and Illinois.

In Illinois and Indiana I grew up with the word POP

When I moved to Texas and then Louisiana I grew acustom to the word SODA

I'm from Southern Georgia.  Most people here call it soda.  A lot of people from here call any kind of soda Coke.  My grandma even calls any kind of soda "drink." (Are you gonna drink your drink?) haha

I'm from the south, so we drink soda. I like caffeine free Coke and Sprite.

I'm from California and every type of soda is Coke. Example, what type of Coke do you want Dr Pepper, Mt Dew, Sprite..........it's funny!
