Robin Soderling has won the first singles rubber in the Davis Cup World Group tie between Sweden and Argentina, defeating Eduardo Schwank in straight sets. Is it the first step to victory for the Swedes?

    Argentina is without Juan Martin del Potro and Juan Monaco, so are fielding a much weakened side in this tie. The worry for Sweden though is whether Soderling will get any support from his teammates, so it’s not over yet.
