Where can I buy sodium acetate hand warmers? I mean at what retail store. I know there available online. at what store in the real world though.

and in what section of the store?

Look in sporting goods or camping stores.  They will most likely be in the first aid section, along with cold packs and other such items.  Ask the employees at the store if you can't find them...
