Sodium thiosulfate concentration?

Hi guys I need ur help.

I m doing an experiment and using sodium thiosulfate of concentration 0.1 mol L^-1 and i wnt to halve it now , i.e 0.05 mol L^-1, wat is the dilution factor i shud use? 1:2 or 1:1?, i.e twice the amount of water as thiosulfate or the same amount of water .

  1. You want to use an equal volume of water.  

    1 L of solution would give you 0.1 mol, so adding 1 L of water would make the concentration 0.05 mol/L.
