Sofa cleaning?

i have 2 sofas from argos , only had them 6 months , they are fabric and chocolate colour , id say the fabric has a slight velvet feel and is a mixture of velvet and cotton if that makes any sense

i have a 4 yo and a 1 yo and my 1 yo is pulling herself up , usually with grubby little fingers so oviously the couches are getting marked and i often see tiny finger marks just at the front

is there any sort of good fabric sofa cleaner i can buy that works well to get rid of any stains and make the couch look clean again , iv been using soap and water but not much difference i live in the uk , so uk products only please and from uk shops

  1. I have a cream 3 piece in my conservatory and have 2 grandchildren who love to jump all over it. I use 1001 Trouble- shooter spray for carpets - comes in a handy spray and works great just on all fabrics spray some on a small sponge and sponge off the stain.

  2. Try XANTO upholstery mousse! its about £2 for a large aerosol. if you don't see it in the shops you could look up on the net (melrose homecare CH1 4DA) PS i got this address off the can. good luck

  3. Vanish carpet and upholstery cleaner and a microfibre cloth (Tesco do 3 for 86p). I know how you feel, everything in my house has a weetabix coating!
