i used to be a soflens 66 contact lens buyer. i used the regular ones with no astigimitism... 'Used to be' referring to the fact that when I got my eyes checked last time at the Shopko Optical, the dr said they were no longer being made.... Is this actually true? or does shopko jsut not carry that brand? ANY help in finding out where to buy would be great... i MISS my contacts!! :( i have tried about 10 other brands and apparently my eyes are the fun, rare kind that are so dry, no other contact will last for longer than 2 hours with me tearing up or having to take them out.

  1. Yah they stop producing. U can try the softlen 59. it is pretty much the same.

  2. Sorry...but it is true. Bausch & Lomb has discontinued that brand.

Good luck trying to find an alternative.

Have you tried the 02 Optix yet ?

  3. They have been discontinued.  I would try Proclear (either monthly daily wear or the single use version) or Acuvue Oasys.  These seem to be the best alternatives for my dry eye patients.
