Had an egg this morning with toast 'soldiers', why do we call them that?

  1. Because they are toast...


  2. A long time ago,they would toast bread

    by the fire & so they would get a colour

    variation,dark to light,looking like 'the Guards'.

    Also they are normally arranged in formation,

    hence,soldiers.

    Now go back to bed & wait for mummy !.
