Soft cervix at 22 weeks how long can it be soft before i go into labor?

do i have a chance of makin it to at least 34 weeks? my cervical length is 3.5 but when i bear down it goes to 1.5 i was put on procardia for my braxton hicks contractions to lesson them..... but does my cervix mean that im going to go into labor very soon? i want to at least make it to 30 weeks!!!!

Have you asked your doctor about placing a cerclage? Also are you on bed rest. If not you should ask him about the cerclage, you might still be able to qualify for an emergency one at 22 weeks. With it softening at this point it is unlikely for you to make it to 34 weeks. The procardia will help some. If not on bed rest I would put myself on bed rest and just take it extremely easy from now on.
