Question:

Soft hair remedies anybody?

my hair is long and thick, is there any kind of inexpensive ways to make it silky soft

  1. I saw the other answers, Mayo and olive oil are good conditioners if your hair is dry.  Baking soda is good if you use a lot of hair spray and other styling products cause it will strip those out and leave your hair very clean.  My favorite for getting smoother hair is a vinegar rinse (half vinegar half cold water) After shampooing and conditioning saturate hair and leave on for a few minutes rinse with cool water.  Actually always rinse with cool water if you can.  It leaves hair softer and shinier.  Good Luck !!!


  2. Yeah, umm aparrently if you mix baking soda and warm water and apply it on your hair and rinse with water it makes your hair soft.

    i haven't tried it but you can try and give it ago. alot of people have and said it works.

  3. mayonnaise or olive oil...yea i know its gross but if you put one of those in your hair 2-3 times a week your hair may become shine and smooth (mine and a few others did).
