Soft vs. Hard Contacts?

I'm going to the eye doctor tomorrow to get a perscription for contacts.

Which do you prefer? Soft lens or Hard lens?

and do any of you have colored contacts?

Acuvue soft lenses with hydraclear are barely noticeable and feel very refreshing. And no, I'm not a spokeperson.

I've tried hard lenses but never could get used to them. They always felt like I had something in my eyes. It's too bad because I could see better with them than with soft lenses. If you can get used to wearing hard lenses, then go for it. They last longer and provide more sharpness in vision.
