  1. Timing is the key.  You need to find a release point..and then practice!!

ummm..how is this a thumbs down answer?

  2. Release at your leg is the keyy.

Look and aim is the next.

Then getting power from dragging you're back foot is last.

    EASY AS THAT. =]

  3. your release point is important. my coach always said to release at 6 o'clock(near your hip or thigh). if you release the ball too soon before you get to your hip, then the ball will go too low. if you release it after it reaches your hip, it will more than likely end up going too high. i use to struggle with my release point. i would release it too soon or to late, and the result would be a ball and not a strike. work on releasing the ball near your hip( at 6 o'clock). for your speed, dont try to pitch fast at first. start out slow and learn your release point. once you have that down pat, work on speeding the pitch up.  it works, trust me! have someone to catch you and help you practice these things. practice make perfect!

one more thing. please do not aim the ball. if you try to aim the ball it will mess your release point up.
