Softball pitching... pitchers only please

Okay, i have been pitching for 6 years, i use the horse shoe grip on the softball. i can pitch a fast and curve ball. but now when i try to through i fastball, my hand turns like i am throwing a curve.. so then it goes on the ground. i have a pitching coach and i pitch fast for my age... i just want to be able to pitxh a fastball with out trying to throw a curve. can u help. videos or just tips will be fine

  1. i'm a baseball pitcher but i think i can give u some advice.

    release point you are use to throwing a curve so you mite be releasing the ball a little early when you throw   your fastball.

  4. Okay I'm not a softball player I play baseball but I have had this dilemma happen to me. Throw a bullpen session with somebody as your catcher and don't throw so hard. Throw your fastball all the time for like 50 pitches. If you throw it like a curve, slow down your pitch even more until you are throwing slow enough  that you are throwing a fastball again. Slowly pick up speed after you start throwing you fastball properly. Then you will start throwing a fastball properly again. Hope it works.
