this is for everyone out there who plays softball

arent u tired of people making fun of this awsome sport. cuz i know i am. all the guys that play baseball make fun of me because they think that this sport is te stupidest thing any person could of invented. BUT ITS NOT. softball ROCKS and i want everyone who cares about softball to stand up to everyone else. EVERYONE WHO PLAYS BASEBALL AND EVERYONE WHO THINKS THAT THEY CAN TAKE SOFTBALL OUT OF THE OLYMPICS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't play softball. But, it is a sport and a very good one. I remember a couple years ago on This Week In Baseball they had a pitcher from the US national team pitch to a major league hitter. He had a harder time with her pitches than he did with a baseball pitcher's pitches. So that is proof it is more difficult than people think.

Also the IOC president was correct when he said that IOC members outside of the Americas consider baseball and softball to be the same, and that is the biggest reason softball is out of the Olympics. This is sad because the IOC is trying to promote women's sports, look at examples of adding women's boxing etc.

Hopefully softball is back in 2016. I'd rather have skateboarding or golf over baseball, unless MLB players play, which won't happen.

To me there is not much differences between softball and baseball.

But it lack popularity around the world.

first of all they only think of taking out softball in Olympics is becasue USA has never lost a match in it....

but since this year they got sliver their not taking it out

but people at my school who play baseball play for the same league as i do and they dont make fun of it cuz they know its da same thing^_^

Softball is ok. But I think they should leave it in the Olympics because then USA can win again.

softball is as good as a sport as any other sport!!

well.. i dont think u should get offended.. cuz.. well every sport gets talked about.. like everyone says that swim or golf arent a sport.. but the truth is.. they are.. and.. if people cant accept that.. they are dumb.. cuz those sports are going to stay on for a loooooong time.. n they should just shut up and not waste their words.. softball is a great and competitive sport!!

i bet guys that play baseball would not be able to play softball .. y?? cuz they are use to small baseballs.. and i bet that in softball.. they will sweat more than they do in baseball.. so if anyone wants to say that softball is not a sport.. or its dumb.. or anything like that...

If any guys make fun of you for playing softball they're morons because baseball also was removed from the olympics and they are almost the same sport.
