  1. What you really want is a 4 year BS degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science.

    The only one you list that is even close would be the last one (CIS) but even that is a big stretch.

    There are options to get a 4 year degree. For example http://www.tesc.edu is a good US accredited choice. http://www.degreeinfo.com is also a good resource.


  2. You need a 4 year program to be considered a software engineer. The associate's degree won't be enough for most jobs.

    Take courses that allow you to see a number of sides of the field. It may turn out that you like network administration much more than application programming, for example. Don't lock yourself into a particular path at first.
