Software not opening designs

Question

Hello, I bought some designs from a couple of digitizers a couple of weeks ago and when I try to open them in my bernina version 5.0 software I get this error message-The file format does not match the expected format for this extension. Native designs may have been created in a more recent version & updating your system may allos the design to open. For other design files, the source software may be creating non-standard formats. Check with source file. --These are digitzers I have used several times and they have not changed anything. Any help with this would be appreciated. Lavannia
