Pakistan is known for producing fast bowlers. Some cricket pundits even say that Pakistan grows fast bowlers on trees and they pick one up whenever they need a replacement. Sohail Tanvir also known as Kukri among his team mates and friends is one of those
finds. He hails from Rawalpindi, Pakistan.
The lightening fast Shoaib Akhtar also comes from Rawalpindi, a city crazy about cricket. Sohail Tanvir is a left arm fast bowler and his initial fame was his unorthodox left arm bowling action. Born on 12 December 1984, Sohail Tanvir is only 26 years old
and is dubbed as the future of Pakistani cricket. He has proven his worth in the Twenty20 format of the game and now he is gaining fame for his hard hitting towards the end. Sohail Tanvir also likes to try his luck with slow left arm spin bowling on occasions.
