ok can anyone explain to my why the depth of each horizon in a catena (ie. o-A and A-B for example o-a is 150mm and a-b is 260mm) why they change down slope, because i have a thick depth between the O and A horizon at the top of the slope, then it gets really thin in teh middle of the slope and gets a little bit bigger at the end of the slope, but not as big as the top of the slope..

  1. Think about it!

The higher up the slope it is the higher the depth.  At the bottom of the slope there the bottom is not far therefore the depth is less than at the top of the slope.  I hope this makes sense.
