    You divide the total of allied troupes by the total of troupes

    you multiply  by 100

    you have the percentage

    How many people do you think it would take to overwhelm your brother hunkering behind his snow fort, armed with plenty of snow balls? More than one? Why?

    The Allies realized that they would need overwhelming firepower to storm ashore on the beaches.  The Germans had spent the past 3 years fortifying the French coastline.

  3. I can only answer C. But the reason they used so many was because Eisenhower believed that if they couldn't dislodge the Germans with an all out attack, then they would have to consider negotiating to end the war.
