Solar Energy Query - India?

Question

I live n Mumbai, India. I wish to know how can I install solar energy machinery in my residential building. I don't want to use solar energy merely for heating water, I want something which I can use for basic household appliances, charge a battery, etc. Also please give me names and contact no. of dealers of solar fittings in Mumbai. I want to know how much would such installation approximately cost.

Go to google search engine and find out the solar energy fitters in your area . I am sure they will customize it for you if the need be .

not sure if their contractors  would be willing to travel to your area or not, but the most refined and efficient solar home project I have ever seen was the Maine Solar House at http://www.solarhouse.com/ it has everything done the way it should be.

Well you can try to search the device on Ebay. You would get the best idea of how  much a solar panel costs. You might want to install the solar panels onto your roof and facing towards the sun. Also, those batteries that you are using your own solar panel power system to recharge must be specially suited to storing chemical energy from the sun.
