The buyer tried to start car and could not and then never returned. He purchased a tag for the car that is now expired. I have no means of contacting buyer and heard that he may have moved out of state.

  1. Is it on your property? If so put a lein on it and in 90 days or less you can get it back for free! (well, a few bucks for the paperwork)

  2. Call the local police department and tell them you have a abanded vehicle in your area, they will tag it and then have it towed 72 hours later.

  3. Call a tow truck and tell them some knuckle head parked the car in the wrong driveway. They pay the tow and it's gone.

  4. Im assuming you still have the money you have from the man?

Go down to your tax collectors office, IF the man that bought it from you lived in your county! Ask them what should you do.

This is not your car, anymore that is. since you hace signed the title. looks like you got a great deal...
